Heat Maps Module for Sitecore

Hi All,

This is a module that I have had built for a while but was too busy to get it to a release state. Finally I have released it onto the Sitecore Shared Source Library so everyone can have a look at how it was implemented. Bottom line, could be done better, but am still pretty stoked with the way it works.

After installation you will receive a “ClickMap” button in the Analyze tab.

This will toggle a context editor ribbon.

This will allow you to change the click maps for different web users (default is “extranet\anonymous”).

This will purge all click maps data from the analytics DB.

This will refresh the page if clicks have been logged since the last time you loaded the click map interface.

Here is the result of a browse on our Nicam demo site.

The module also shows click dispersion and highlights popular click areas.
